Hot Tub Aromatherapy For Beginners

In this post

Whilst you don’t need to be a holistic enthusiast to enjoy the benefits of aromatherapy, we thought it could be useful to address some of the advantages of incorporating this simple but powerful therapy technique into your life.

At Malvern Hot Tubs and Swim Spas, we offer a hot tub aromatherapy package as one of our optional extras, so that you can experience everything that your new swim spa or hot tub has to offer.

Put simply, Hot Tub aromatherapy is the use of aromatic plant extracts and essential oils within your spa water for healing and cosmetic purposes; Essential oils in particular have wonderful benefits due to the aromas which help to stimulate healthy chemicals within the brain, which can help to alleviate many different ailments such as the effects of stress, migraines and muscle tightness.

Many of us are familiar with eucalyptus essential oils which are used in many decongestants during the winter months, but there are so many more oils which offer the remedy to various different ailments:

Circulation, Energy Levels and Mental Stimulation: Using Cardamom, Black Pepper, Cinnamon, Clove, Jasmine, Angelica, Tea Tree, Rosemary and Sage are all popular essential oils which can be used to improve your circulation and mood.

Stress Relief: Using lemon oil, lavender, bergamot, peppermint, vetiver and ylang-ylang are great for relieving stress and some studies have also shown that lemon oil can be used to improve your mood and help to reduce outbursts of anger. That’s worth trying!

If you’re new to the concept of aromatherapy, there’s no need to feel overwhelmed. We have various aromatherapy packages in our showroom and our team are well versed in the uses and benefits that come with using essential oils in your hot tub or swim spa.

Our experts are on hand at your local showsite to advise on the best aromatherapy oils to use and to provide an aromatherapy starter pack.
